Ochre Hill Baptist Church engages everyone, including our youth, in mission work geared toward meeting both physical and spiritual needs. We work with Youth on Mission which recently merged with SCORE.
Every summer Ochre Hill sends a team to volunteer a week with Youth on Mission. Traveling to Bluefield, VA, Pikeville, KY, Wheeling, WV and Huntington, WV, teams have participated in construction projects, painting, cleaning, and working in a soup kitchen. The team includes youth from age 13 to seniors age 75. Everyone is encouraged to participate in helping others in need and presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
